Wes Parker and Shane O’Keefe both had sub 2.0 GPAs in high school and were unsure of what to do after they graduated. So they enlisted in the Air Force. In the process, they gained lucrative careers and got the chance to travel the world. Wes tells of his time in Afghanistan and Eastern Africa. Shane was stationed in South Korea and Italy. Wes is still in the service after 16 years.

Despite foregoing college, they both now hold advanced degrees. Shane holds an MBA and works in the private sector. And Wes is a PhD candidate, even though he failed freshman English three years in a row. One of my all time favorite stories!
