Ryan Warner is the host of the Wrestling Changed My Life podcast. He is one of the premier voices in the wrestling community and has interviewed all of the greats, from Dan Gable to Kendall Cross. His podcast is one of my favorites and in this episode I get the chance to grill him about his techniques.

Ryan most recently produced his magnum opus, a 7-part audio docuseries called The Smiths, which tells the story of wrestling legend John Smith who was a six-time world and Olympic champion, and his brother Pat Smith, who was the first four-time NCAA wrestling champion in history. Both John and Pat Smith are Distinguished Members of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.

In this episode we talk about some of the challenges of producing the documentary and some of the inspirations behind it. Ryan flew all over the country to interview over 30 people for this amazing documentary. We talked about some of the more controversial aspects of the story and how he navigated the process.
